Pearl S. Buck International High School Leadership Program Graduates
Pearl S. Buck International is pleased to announce the graduation of 10 future leaders from the Pearl S. Buck International High School Leadership Program. These students spent nine weeks developing leadership skills and a fundamental understanding of how to apply those skills for personal development and service projects.
In order to graduate from the leadership program, the students initiated a service project to promote Pearl S. Buck International’s child sponsorship program, Opportunity House. The students invited the community to an event filled with inspirational stories of child sponsorship and the success stories of many of the sponsored children.
The Pearl S. Buck International High School Leadership Program is generously sponsored by Comcast and available to area high school students entering 9th, 10th and 11th grade. Students must complete an application and make a commitment to attend all sessions and complete a service project. They will graduate with the ability, desire, and skills to make meaningful, lifelong contributions within the community.
