Township Will Be Upgrading with New LED and OptaLume Lighting Fixtures

New Britain, PA (11-17-11) – Stouch Lighting announced today that New Britain Township, Bucks County, PA, has selected them to provide and install new LED and OptaLume lighting fixtures. Stouch Lighting will be retrofitting existing fixtures to a more energy-efficient light source in their municipal building, police station and parking lots. The new LED and OptaLume light fixtures will enhance the quality of light while creating more than 74% energy savings in the police station. These fixtures
will drastically reduce maintenance costs in both the parking lot and the municipal building.

Upon project completion New Britain will have a total of $52,939 dollars saved.

Township taxpayers a great deal of money while increasing visibility in our municipal buildings and parking areas.”

Stouch Lighting will be retrofitting the lights in the municipal building and police station to new, high quality LED light fixtures and OptaLume technology. OptaLume is a highly reflective plastic substrate which retrofits existing recessed fluorescent fixtures without sacrificing the
current lighting quality. The OptaLume fixtures will significantly improve the lighting levels in both buildings, and will reduce energy usage by more than 65%.
In the parking lot, new LED light fixtures will be installed along with new flood light fixtures, omni-directional LED light bulbs and LED wall pack fixtures. Upon completion maintenance costs will be eliminated by 100%.
