Fred Beans Auto Group purchases Flemington dealerships
Fred Beans Automotive Group, based in Doylestown, Bucks County, announces its purchase of Toyota, Scion and Kia franchises in Flemington, New Jersey, a deal completed while Hurricane Sandy was kicking up her heels along the eastern seaboard.
Fred Beans Toyota Scion and Fred Beans Kia of Flemington – formerly James Toyota and Kia –reopened November 6 at 174 Route 202 in Flemington, marking the organization’s first automotive sales and service presence in New Jersey. The acquisition gives the Fred Beans Family a total of 18 different brands sold in 15 dealerships across the region.
“I’m honored and excited to be in Hunterdon County,” said Fred Beans, president of the automotive group. “We chose this location for our first New Jersey dealership because we fell in love with the community and we really want to be a part of it.”
Beans is taking the reins of a 20-year-old franchise housed in a three-year-old 60,000-square-foot building. According to Toyota’s Environmental, Safety and Quality Communications Department, the LEED Silver-certified facility is Toyota’s only Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified dealership in the state.
Besides rounding out his brands with a Toyota franchise, the new building and its LEED certification are attractions that fit right in with Beans’s priorities.
The new Fred Beans dealership will be overseen on a daily basis by Brad Hackendahl, general manager. For more information: 215.348.2900 or http://www.fredbeans.com.
