You thought the Central Bucks East vs. West basketball rivalry was over for this year? No way! It continues at the 6th annual Coaches vs. Cancer. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 and we have already raised more than $38,000! With your help we can raise even more.
Come to CB East this Saturday, February 9, to watch the CB East teachers take on the teachers of CB West at 1:00 pm with a performance by Kristina Lewis and the Kutz Jump Rope Team.
2:00 pm will feature an EAST VS. WEST SHOWDOWN of East senior athletes vs.West senior athletes. Halftime performances will feature Ali and Shannon Walker & Katie Gaebel.
3:00 pm will be our final game of the day - the rematch from 2012 of CB East teachers vs. the CB East seniors with halftime appearances by the East boys and girls basketball teams.
There will be basketball contests for the kids all afternoon at halftime and between games.
Over 50 pre-registered 3 on 3 teams in grades 3 - 9 will participate in our girls and boys 3 on 3 tournaments in the East main and auxiliary gyms from 8 am - 12 noon. Prizes will be awarded between 12 - 1 pm.
Admission is a suggested donation of $5.00. You get a Coaches vs. Cancer bracelet, and it's a great basketball day with thousands of dollars in prizes, raffle baskets
and silent auction items being awarded! Our 2013 designed event t-shirts, Pennybandz bracelets and sling bags will be for sale. Plan to come hungry because our snack stand will feature breakfast and lunch!
